Unique Giftwrapping Ideas

I'm finally getting into the Christmas feeling. Sorry I haven't posted. I've been really busy trying to finish buying gifts and setting up my tree.

Eco-friendly Gift Wrapping from Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart has some awesome ideas on how to gift wrap. I really like the Chinese newspaper and the maps.

Tinfoil Gift Wrap via The Gift Wrap Blog
If you don't feel like spending money on gift wrap this is perfect. Everybody has tin foil and it would look really good with some black or pink.

This would be so easy and fun! Simple solution to write like a kid: Write with the hand you don't usually use.  Adorable. Martha does everything perfectly!

Miu-Miu Style Wrapping via Ambrosia Girl

The ribbon ties it all together and the glittery labels are so much fun!

4 days till' Christmas!

What Don't You Get?

Some guys are the biggest jerks ever. Right now, I'm listening to a Cody Simpson song (Not Just You) and I'm inspired to write this.

Nothing's Wrong
Yes, something is wrong and I want you to ask me.
Even some of my friends believe me when I say nothing's wrong. Like seriously, you screwed up so maybe you should shut your mouth and admit your wrong.

It's Just A Game
Chill out. You shouldn't care so much about your dumb game.
Umm, hello? When a girl says that she wants you to pay more attention to her than the game. Wake up.

Do You Think She's Pretty?
Stop checking her out.
Wow. Big no-no. Why would you check out a girl when you have your own girlfriend?

Are You Even Listening To Me?
Listen to me before I slap you.
The phrase says it all. You've been caught.

Do I Look fat In This?
Don't lie. Don't tell the truth either.
If your girlfriend ever ask you this repeat after me:
''It's nice but you don't look comfortable in it. "
Or something like that.

I'll Just Have a Salad
I am hungry as hell. Feed me!
Yes, she is hungry but she doesn't want to be a slob. She might steal some of your sandwich though.

5 Weird Things You Don't Know About Me

I'm bored and I have no interesting news or tutorial to write about so here we go!

1. I borrow books from the library every week.
It's not like the weirdest thing ever but I love reading books and I don't like buying them. It's a waste of paper and I will only read it once and that's it. I'll only buy books if I know for sure that I'll be reading it over and over.

2. My nails are always short. Forever and always. I just don't like long nails. They dig in and stuff. And I find it hard to keep them clean.  I do like painting my nails though.

3.I hate drinking water and milk. I mean like, I know that water has no flavour bu that's what I hate about it. Why drink water when you can drink juice? And milk. Urghh. Forget about it. Your drinking something that was squeezed out of an udder! Urghh.

4.I love to bake. My favorite is cheesecake. It's delicious. I should probably blog about cooking but I don't wanna give my secrets away!

5. I'm short. Like under 5'5.It's not like people tease me about it and I'm pretty sure my friends love my shortness considering that when I wear high heels, they're like " Woah! She's normal height now! " Yeah. I love being short.

Well. Now you have learned 5 weird things about me.

Organic Shampoos/ Conditioners

I love organic items. It's like a way of life. Organic and eco-friendly basically go hand in hand for me.

Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo

I live on this stuff.

  • sulfate and paraben free which is good.
  • adds moisture and protection
It has a good lather. It smells pretty good too, like light and fruity instead of that scrunching your nose up smell that shampoos usually have. It feels pretty light and free and hydrated which is nice for a change.  One thing though, it's some pretty expensive stuff but I got it for a steal at Winner's. Do they have Winners in the USA?

Australian Organics Conditioner

I got this from Winners too. This stuff is amazing. It's gentle, not too greasy and plus it's good for everyday use. The price is really good too. They have conditioner for different types of hair. I used the fine/limp hair one.
It has an ok smell, it's not the best but it's better than most of them.

Sukin Purifying Shampoo

This makes your hair feel really full and healthy. I couldn't help but keep on feeling my head afterwards.  It has aloe vera, nettle, horsetail and burdock. Very natural! The website says it helps alot with strenghtening your hair and stuff.
What I love about Sukin products is that they have no parabens, no artifical colours, no propylene glycol / no triethanolamine, no synetic frangrances, no animal deritatives and lots more. They also don't test on animals or use animal by products.  It's very natural and it all comes from fruits and plants.

I would say Sukin has the most natural products but all of them are good too.

Teen Book Reviews ( Part 5)

Ahhh!!! My last book post. I have decided something awesome though. I like writing book reviews so I have decided to keep writing them!! Yay!

Title: My Life Undecided.
Author: Jessica Brody
Age Group: Teen
Rating: ♥♥♥♥

My Life Undecided starts off with Brooklyn Pierce getting arrested. She gets in trouble very often. One day, she decides she wants to change her ways.  Brooklyn starts a blog and posts poll for her readers to decide her life. Because she has gotten arrested, she has to volunteer in a old folks home. That leads to a new storyline itself.

This book was so funny! I loved it so much! Imagine if I let you guys decide my life for me! The blogging part didn't take up the whole book which I liked. There were just little tidbits of the blogging. Another thing that was really awesome was that Brooklyn was like a real girl. She would make excuses like a real girl should.  Jessica Brody is now on my favorite author's list. ( which I will have to show you later.)

Title: Finally
Author: Wendy Mass
Age Group:  10+
Rating:  ♥♥♥♥

Rory Swenson has a list of things to do when she turns 12.
- Get a cellphone
-stay home alone
-get contact lenses
-and much more!
Now that the day has come, Rory gets into alot of trouble trying to complete what is on her list. Mix that together with movie star Jake Harrison filming at her school and what do you get? A big bowl of warm, funny and weird.

I know that the age group for this is young but I picked this book up because I was bored and stuff but I ended up really enjoying it. At the end, there was a big ending where all the loose ends were tied. It was also fun laughing about all her mistakes.
