Water Marble Nail Polish Tutorial

In case some of you don't know, I love nail art and nailpolish. I'm been obssessed with it for a long time but it's only recently that I got into nailart.

 You will need:

1. {Sorry for the crappy picture! } Anyways, do a base coat and when it dries, cover the rest of your finger in Vaseline. Not the whole finger but just the area around the nail. This will make it easier to take the extra nail polish off.

 2. Take a pan of water and drop drops of nail polish into it. Alternate between colours.
{This step has to be done fast.}

3. After you have finished the last step, swirl the colours with a toothpick quickly.

4. Dip the finger that has the Vaseline on it into the nailpolish. The nail part should be touching.

6. It will come out like this.  Use a q-tip to rub off any extra nail polish. After, use some nailpolish remover to clean it off.

How I Live My Life {02/07/2012}

Uhmm. I feel bad because I said I would be posting " How I Live My Life " twice a week and I'm not. I doubt anybody reads this unless you like my blog but in which case you do, why don't you comment more? Actually "Tee" is probably the only one that comments.

 I got new deodorant! I know it's not exactly the biggest thing to get excited about but this is seriously cool deodorant. Apparently, they say that they use minerals that create an invisible layer of protection against odor. {Or something like that.} That's not even the amazing part though.

 It's this. Instead of your average little stick, this one is a ball. I shake it so the liquid will like splash the ball, making it wet and then I apply. It's so cute!
 I also got a lovely new hairband from one of my friends. It's leather and I love it so much! It's looks so hot.

 I also tried water marbling and it sort of worked. It looks disgusting and I had to splatter Vaseline over my fingertips before putting them in the nail polish. If you don't know how to water marble, Youtube it.
My favourite is my pinky. It looks cute and it turned out the best. Now, as I'm typing this, I keep on glancing at my nails because of how vibrant they are.

One last note:
While I was scooping icecream, I noticed these little flakes on the side. Most people would call them ice crystals or pretty but I think it looks so gross. It looks like mold is growing on the side. I hate it.

I added a button! Now you can grab a button. It's underneath my ''about me'' on the side and GRAB IT! I spent so long looking through my photos for that one. Just copy and paste it on the side of your blog in an HTML post.

Valentine's Day Card

I took a piece of tissue paper and I unfolded it. {It's from Walmart} and there is a big hole because I used it for another project that should be up soon. Anyways, we're only using a little bit.
So, if you can see the 'seam' kinda, cut along the line. And by seam, I mean the fold lines.

Cut a small strip like that.

Then fringe it. Like, cut little lines but not all the way up to the top, just about 3 quarters or so.

Take any size of paper you want and fold it to make a card. Then glue along where you want the fringe to be.

Stick it on gently and trim the edges that stick out off.
Tada! Repeat until you have covered as much as you wanted.

I made a mini one too.

DIY Paper Origami Stars

How I Live My Life (02/02/2012)

Yesterday, I had bought something and they gave me a free kitty cat keychain. Too bad I don't have a key chain place thingy to put it on. It's so cute and it's kneeling over!

Sorry for the crappy picture quality. I'm still working on a DIY bangle that I wanted to write a tutorial on but the string on the bangle is loose. I can't wrap it tight enough!

I found this really cute hat in my drawer the other day, it must have been like 3 years since I've worn it. Anyways, I was looking at the buttons and thinking that I could use these for a really cute project.
